The client approached Square One Architects in early 2017 with an exciting project in mind. They were looking to convert and extend the loft of their terraced house in Hampton to create additional living space. Specifically, their goal was to achieve two small bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower. Recognizing the potential of the loft, we immediately started discussing various types of loft extensions that could cater to their needs. One option that caught their attention was an "L-shaped" rear dormer roof extension. This particular design would not only maximize the existing footprint of the house but also provide ample space for the desired amenities.
